    Not tested in field but very nice first impression

    I was looking to upgrade from my Frogg Toggs rain pants, which are like wearing cardboard. Happened to see the Tempest pant on closeout on decided to give them a shot. I wear 30 x 30 in most pants. Decided to try size small since Drake stuff usually runs huge, and it appears that was the right choice. They fit pretty well with room to spare to fit over other pants. Zippered pockets and boot zippers are a nice touch. Zippers are very good quality, like all other Drake gear I've had. They're also insanely lightweight which is nice for packability. My only complaint is Drake's insane shipping cost. $12 to ship a pair of pants that weigh 9 ounces? No way it costed that much to ship these.
